Costa Blanca – the cheapest

The Costa Blanca is still one of the cheapest places to buy real estate in Spain. And this wonderfully beautiful coast. Despite the galloping prices of real estate, you can still find a second-hand opportunity here, and real estate development is cheaper than, for example, Costa del Sol or Costa Brava.

Here it is worth highlighting a very important detail. North and south division of Costa Blanca. Real estate on the Costa Blanca North. Northern Costa Blanca, i.e. the coast north of Alicante with the cities of Benidorm, Denia, Javea, Moraira, Alfaz del Pi, Benitachell, Calpe, Vilaljoyosa, El Campello – here real estate is more expensive than the southern part of Costa Blanca and real estate on the Costa Blanca South or coast located south of Alicante, with famous investment locations such as Torrevieja, Guardamar del Segura, Santa Pola, La Marina, Orihuela Costa, Playa Flamenca, La Mata, La Zenia, Villamartin, La Florida, Punta Prima, Mil Palmeras and the surrounding area.

Properties for sale in Costa Blanca

Costa Blanca has excellent beaches, considered the best in all of Spain. The area south of Valencia has a wonderful climate, mild winters, hot summers and, above all, wonderful beaches. Not to mention the culture and great local cuisine … The surroundings of Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa are additionally characterized by a specific microclimate, wonderful and beneficial to health, due to the influence of the salty lagoons surrounding the city.

It is warm here in winter. A lot of foreigners live here and a lot of “expats” live here permanently. It’s a great place to invest in real estate and live in Spain. There is great health care, good public and private hospitals, and good schools. And prices for apartments and houses on the Costa Blanca are still among the lowest in all of Spain. The same applies to property taxes and lower property maintenance costs here.

Majorca, Menorca, Formentera and Ibiza. Due to the fact that Majorca was “mastered” by the Germans in the early 70s, Majorca is an expensive place for investment and purchase of real estate in Spain. But this is not the only fact. Majorca is popular and expensive. You need to consider a more complicated journey if you plan to get there by car. You must take the ferry from Denia to Majorca.

Flights to Majorca are also more expensive, and car rental is more expensive. But maybe the most important factor for a potential real estate investor in Mallorca is the fact – in winter Majorca pools often freeze. So we have a skating rink from the pool. Of course, this is a beautiful island and nothing will convince you if you insist that you want a villa in Majorca. Neither the price of the property nor the climate will convince you to another region of Spain.

Ibiza is also an expensive place to buy property in Spain, and if you live somewhere in a well-known resort in Ibiza, then in summer it is better to leave your apartment or house because of the huge number of young tourists looking for strong impressions from all over Europe. Well, unless you’re one of them …

Canary Islands – long flight

Some are convinced of the Canary Islands to buy real estate. And no arguments will convince them of another location to buy property in Spain. But personally, I was always put off by the long flight to Canarias. About 6 hours by plane from Poland. It’s almost a flight to America. Tenerife is the most popular destination for real estate in the Canary Islands and a lot of our compatriots are looking for real estate abroad.

House and flat prices in the Canary Islands are not the most expensive in Spain, but of course if you demand a good location and a high standard, you have to reckon with high property prices. Someone once said that the Canary Islands are the best marketing-promoted product in Europe after World War II.

Because most of us associate the Canary Islands with a paradise on earth, lots of greenery and canaries on palm trees. Hmmm … who was there knows what to write in a moment. Beaches on Tenerife, for example, are black, of volcanic origin. From a bird’s eye view of Tenerife is one “big rock”. You won’t see green there.

I don’t know what Gran Canaria or Fuerteventura looks like, because I have not personally visited these islands, but Fuerteventura – the name comes from the strong wind. The climate on Canarias is also not as great as it may seem, and yet these long hours on the plane personally to me in the Canary Islands have always been effectively discouraging. But here too, your decision and beliefs must prevail.

Above all, the budget

When planning an investment in buying property in Spain, you must first of all decide on the region in which you want to buy a house, villa or apartment in Spain. Measure your intentions. Analyze your budget carefully. Is the smaller apartment on the Costa del Sol or a nice semi-detached house on the Costa Blanca?

We have no influence on this. In addition to being a professional real estate agency, we will find real estate for you in your budget and in your requirements.

The above information in brief was intended to familiarize you with the Spanish real estate market. And actually with very practical and mundane aspects of buying property in Spain.

A thorough analysis of the Spanish real estate market can be found in other sources.
Some people visiting our offices after seeing a few beautiful real estate from the developer are infatuated with the vision of a beautiful new home in Spain, fragrant new home, which you will be able to show off to friends and family close and distant. But often the budget does not allow it.

And then there is the vision of a mortgage in Spain, which we also help you to arrange. Visit the mortgage chapter in Spain to buy real estate. You have to ask yourself an important question here? Is it worth “entering” a mortgage for 15, 20 or 30 years?

You have to analyze the pros and cons, analyze your financial capabilities and your cash flow every month. Will the income from the rental of property in Spain cover the monthly obligations related to the repayment of such a loan? Do I even want to rent my new, beautiful, fragrant apartment or house in Spain?

Can he leave some cash in store and decide on something cheaper. Common sense first and foremost remember this. In this case, we put emotions aside. And above all, if you are going to another country and you are planning a real estate investment here and buying a house or flat with which you will be associated in a larger or smaller way over the next years.
